basketball i need a training workout to get good?

well im 15, i want to try out next year for the team but im small im 5,7 and il be trying out for the grade 12 team, i need a excellent workout program to train all aspects of basketball like freethrows layups anyone got suggestions

    Well if you had access to a weight lifting facility, then strengthening your biceps/triceps, chest and shoulders will allow you to shoot more consistently throughout a game. Legs are vital too, squats and leg exercises will pay off. Running, sprinting will also help. At your height, you need quickness, so I suggest dribbling and making quick cuts, always try to improve your quickness. Core exercises, such as sit ups and such, will also improve your overall athleticism.
