		<description>Exercise builds muscle. Cardio workouts are excellent for endurance and for the function of the heart muscle. Weight lifting increases strength. Muscle does weigh more than fat, and if there is an excess in fat, diet changes are definitely in order. Funky weird diets work initially and then fail. People tend to either gain the weight back or gain more weight than when they started. Changing food choices can be all that&#039;s needed.Fresh fruits and veggies instead of candy, lean meats instead of hamburgers, water and juices instead of cola. I also believe that a daily multivitamin is essential because these days, one cannot eat all the nutrients the body needs. I found that a six pack can be achieved with exercise but for the muscles to show, the fat has to be gone and that requires a nutritionally sound diet. Good luck on your quest. Measure your waist at the level of your belly button. A man&#039;s waist should not be greater than 35 inches.
